Blue Lock is an amazing and a trending anime, that win’s heart of anime fans who also like football to play. So this anime follow from were our Yoichi Isagi was a mere moments away from scoring a goal that would have sent his high school soccer team to the nationals, but in a split second he decide to give a pass to his teammate cost him that reality.

A bitter, confused and disappointed, but Isagi wonders if he didn’t give the pass to his teammate the outcome could be different. After that when this young strikers returns home, an invitation from the japan Football Union awaits him. Through an arbitrary and biased decision making process, Isagi is one of the three hundred U-18 strikers selected for a controversial project named BLUE LOCK.

The projects ultimate goal is to turn one of the selected players onto the star striker for the Japanese national team. To find the best participant, each diamond in the rough must compete against others through a series of solo and team competition to rise to the top.

This anime is directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe with Shunsuke Ishikawa assisting. The series composition is handled by Taku Kishimoto and the music is composed by Jun Murayama.

The animation and these character designs by Kenji Tanabe and Kento Toya with Masaru Shindou overseeing the main character designs.

Muneyuki Kaneshiro is a well known Japanese manga writer, also his diverse storytelling across multiple genres. His works include Jagaaan, Bokutachi ga Yarimashita and Blue Lock, latter he won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the Shonen category.

Moreover his unconventional approach to story telling particularly in Blue Lock, where he challenges traditional sports manga tropes.

Also he was openly started that he struggles to write selfless heroes, which is why Blue Lock more focuses on ego-driven characters rather than a teamwork. His philosophy is even that seemingly selfless actions are rooted in personal ambition, making his character more complex and realistic.
